Our services are always supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). All intensive intervention programs are based on science-based best practice recommendations for individuals with ASD and other developmental disabilities. All programs for children under the age of 6 are intensive, meaning children receive 15-30 hours a week of intensive ABA intervention.
We offer a variety of services that are designed to meet individual needs. We design programs for toddlers as young as 18 months, children, adolescents, and adults, that can be implemented in your home or in your community. All children benefit from home-based intervention. There are increased opportunities for:
Generalization of learned skills to the natural environment
Parent Training and support allows family members to facilitate their child’s learning and communication skills in naturally occurring settings
Programming for playdates with peers and siblings
Preschool, daycare, and school support can be provided as part of home-based services as well
What does home-based intervention involve?
We work meaningfully, in collaboration with other professionals involved in the treatment of your child.
BCBA or BCaBA implements and oversees the assessment process, and implements ongoing assessments in order to design an individualized curriculum for your team to implement.
Initial and ongoing training of behaviour interventionists (BI’s) who work in your home or community with your child
BI’s work 1:1 in your home, preschool, or community, and implement program goals as designed by your BCBA or BCaBA
We work collaboratively with the family to promote generalization and maintenance of skills
We help families with behaviour management in the home as needed, through the design and implementation of Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBS)
We run home-based team meetings
Ongoing monitoring and review of data is overseen by your BCBA or BCaBA
